Very soft and I love that it comes with so many. It is one of the squares that the ends are pressed together which can be a little scratchy if it catches by accident. It has two different textures on each side. One just soft cotton and one that is kind of like a mesh looking material but cotton. I prefer to use the just cotton side as my skin is really sensitive and I find it too abrasive. But it holds the product well so it doesn’t feel like you’re waisting anything!

this cotton pad breaks apart on the gauze layer when i use it which can be annoying, it still works but know that the top layer will peel off when you use it with toner for example
