Have you ever wondered how idols and actors always pull off gorgeous, dewy, smooth skin? Well, it has lots to do with their skincare routines, but also the kind of makeup they wear. One of Korea’s most popular foundation system is the BB cushion, that little round thing you see actresses pull out of their bags right before an important meeting, a date or while doing their makeup in the morning. What are they exactly? If you’ve never heard of them or seen one, they’re basically cushions soaked in BB or CC cream (or liquid foundations from time to time) inside a compact, paired with a bouncy applicator puff that you pat all over your face. Some consider it a fusion between skincare and makeup because they not only cover your skin but also improve its feel, look, and overall health.
