I've always been reluctant to add a retinol into my routine, I'm always worried about irritation because I have both oily and dehydrated skin. I've tried a few products from COSRX including acne patches, sunscreen, and snail mucin and all have been solid. This feels like a great addition to my routine, the cream is very light and I appreciate that it doesn't have a sticky residue so I can layer the too many products I bough with it. It features other ingredients like panthenol and vitamin C which probably contribute to the brightening effect that I experienced the next morning. The COSRX website mentions you can use it under your eyes too, which is a much thinner layer of skin, so I have faith in their formulation. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm excited to see if it can make a difference in some of the fine lines I have. TLDR: Feels good, gentle and brightening, versatile and less harsh than some options Also, for those who skip the instructions, it says to refrigerate after use

0.1% Retinol, Shea Butter, Panthenol, Adenosine, Ascorbic Acid, 3-O Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Tocotrienol This is a lovely mid-weight cream. It’s nourishing yet doesn’t feel heavy. There are plenty of supportive ingredients here to help protect your skin. 0.1% Retinol make it great for beginners or folks with sensitivity. I’d still start slow and work up your frequency.

This is the first retinol cream i've used that recommends it to be stored in the fridge after use. This isn't my first retinol product, but I didn't have any sensitivity issues with using it, however my skin is used to using retinol so take my review with a grain of salt. The additional instructions that the cream came with were awesome, clear, and concise.

It helps a lot my skin to look more radiant and healthier. I used this for almost 2 weeks during nighttime. A pea size was enough to cover my whole face and neck. I like how it leaves my skin moisturized, soothed, plumped and firmed. No tacky feeling and greasiness. It absorbed fast by my skin. I saw some improvement on my fine lines and skin texture. It’s incredible how it made my skin looks brighter and glowing! Overall, I enjoyed using this as it did not caused me irritations or further breakouts. It worked well on my combo skin type. It’s now one of my holy grails!

The cream melted on my skin. The texture appears thick but lightweight on my skin. I think it’s more like a balm or ointment yet creamy because it melts on skin but isn't oily and quick absorbing like cream and leaves my skin nourished and smooth. Yes, this is a unique cream

Okay guys so here are some tips on how to choose and use @cosrx_korea 's retinols. They have 2 versions: the 0.1% cream and 0.5% oil. Personally I'm using the cream on every other night as I'm a newbie to retinol and I have dry skin so I don't want to mess my skin barrier up

Packaging: simple black and white tone, the tube looks smaller than I thought. Main ingredients: Pure Retinol 0.1% (vitamin A), Panthenol, Adenosine, Tocotrienol (super vitamin E)... Texture: butter yellow, odorless, thick. Fast absorption, non-sticky, medium moisture, light stretch - I took it daily for 2 weeks, being the first time using a retinol. Was worried about skin irritation at first, but it didn't happen, lighter than I thought, feels like regular moisturizer. My skin is combination dry skin, use every night, moderate moisture, not oily or acne, feeling light face. - I have not seen any noticeable effects on the skin, maybe because I am only 20 years old, I have not had wrinkles, only my skin is more shiny. Skin is quite sensitive to sunlight when using it, it needs to be carefully shielded

Retinol is a must in my nighttime skincare routine. This is perfect for those who want to start using retinol since it’s very light. I’ve had no irritation and nothing concerning. The consistency is pretty lightweight and moisturizing. I would recommend.

It’s not sticky and fast absorb. After using for a week I found my skin a little bright and fresh. Would be best if it use with retinol oil
