It’s just a simple face wash. Wouldn’t recommend this product for anyone who has acne. But it can be use for other things.

gentle cleaner for your face not so much irritation

Though I don't have sensitive skin, I was looking for a gentle foam cleanser that wouldn't aggravate my acne. I used this as a second cleanse after using a cleansing oil. It had no scent, which would be a plus if you're looking for a fragrance free cleanser. As for the "calming" effect, I couldn't tell any difference. Then again like I said, I don't have sensitive skin per say.
