This is marketed as a calming serum for acne-prone skin. I am currently on tret and don’t have much acne to speak of, so I was turning to this serum to calm my skin in the morning after using my actives the night before. Unfortunately, this is just not hydrating enough for me. I love the light smell of tea tree and the texture sinks right in to the skin. The bottle is generous for the price, and for anyone with oilier skin, this could be so lovely. Just not for me and my dry dry skin. I’ll reserve this for the occasional breakout (hello, periods) as I’ve noticed it does have a positive effect when I break out, but I am leaving it out of my daily routine. Plan on finishing it.
