This is a water type toner rather than a serum in my opinion. It is very gentle, because I have a few open wound from acne and it does not hurt when I accidentally apply it on top of them. I like to use it when I need some exfoliation but I don't want to irritate my skin because AHA and BHA hurts. The aesthetic of the box to the bottle is also LOVE. However, if you expect superb exfoliation, opt for others.

This is a gentle alternative to something stronger like glycolic acid. Haven’t used it many times but I might use it the store before my daily sheet mask

This is ideal for those who have sensitive or dry skin, as this exfoliant isn’t harsh or drying whatsoever. For me it has more of a toner/essence consistency than an actual serum, so it absorbs super easily into the skin. I use this a few times a week to keep my pores and overall skin tone clear.

Like the product name says, the PHA in this liquid serum, a type of hydroxy acid, is extremely gentle on the skin. It's perfect for sensitive skin types like mine. For a serum, it feels like a watery toner that's very hydrating. Product absorbs quickly and dries down to a skin-like finish, no stickiness. This product contains orange water but doesn't have a scent but I wish it did, like a refreshing citrus scent probably because I love scented toners. It's supposed to help control shine and keep your skin clear and it's also supposed to help brighten the skin but I haven't used it long enough to notice any differences yet but I do like that it's lightweight and hydrating.

Very pleasantly surprised by this, in two weeks I've noticed improved texture, slight lifting of dark spots. I apply this when my face is still damp from washing and spritz rose water over top, followed with a ceramide serum. I've used very aggressive exfoliants, and didn't notice such a difference in my skin performance. AND its winter, so I would expect over drying but I haven't had that. As I said in the title, in my opinion, this isn’t a serum. It’s more of a toner. It’s very watery and has a light scent. It’s not that hydrating and I haven’t used it enough to attest to its brightening effects but overall it’s not a bad product.

It’s a good product to add to my skincare routine.
