Azelaic acid is a *great* ingredient for acne, redness, texture, anti-aging, and more, but I haven’t seen it much in K-beauty (this seems to be the only brand on Style Korean that has it?), and it’s hard to find in forms that aren’t kinda thick and pasty creams that don’t really play well with other skin care or makeup products.
But this serum showed me that it doesn’t have to be that way! It’s definitely a serum that spreads easily on the face, even though it is a bit sticky. I’m pretty sure the stickiness is due to the addition of snail mucin, which is full of skin-boosting peptides. It also has niacinamide and panthenol to contribute to skin health and softness. (The 10% Azelaic acid is the star of the show, though — for people worried about the other ingredients dominating, it only has 2% niacinamide, 1% panthenol, and ~1% snail mucin: enough to have effect, but still quite gentle.)
I’m definitely going to buy this again, and continue looking into this brand!
