The texture is lightweight gel; has no scent. Gives a deeply hydrating, soft, and nourishing feeling. This product protects the skin against harmful environmental influences and restores skin vitality. Great as an everyday morning moisturizer. Didn't give any irritation or redness stripping feeling. Didn't get any acne or clogged cores.

it good for hydrating but still not sure about barrier repair part , I think it do a decent job
