Caved in and bought it due to the hype! I would say it does live up to it, it hydrates my skin well! I think it helps with lightening my hyperpigmentation but can’t really say yet. But so far so good

apply a small amount on your entire face, massaging in to problem areas. Gently pat using fingertips to aid absorption, and then go forth with your serums and moisturisers. It works perfectly and suite greatly to my skin.
