Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence does not have a noticeable scent which is a good thing for me since I don't like face products that are scented as much as possible. Upon application, it sank well on my skin as I patted it gently on my face after my cleanser. I didn't experience irritations upon application until now that I've used it for more than 3 weeks. When first received the product appears in two layers (as shown) and the bottle needs to be shaken to mix the oil and water layers. This is normal but note that you'll have to do this each time you use the product! Packaging is a heavy duty glass bottle with a screw top lid so be wary of slipperiness in a moist bathroom. That aside the product itself is very nice; it feels non-irritating for my sensitive skin while still being more moisturizing (thanks to the oil content) than a classic watery hydrating toner. Among milky toners I've only tried the Laneige cream skin; the Dr. Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha essence is more lightweight and less likely to clog skin, but also less moisturizing if you have a very dry skin type. My skin skews dry but I still think this essence is more pleasant as part of an everyday routine. It layers well for both day and night skincare. Would recommend for anyone looking for a moisturizing, lightweight step in their skincare routine.

I'm a bit skeptical of using this essence because of that milky feels when i pour it. but when i apply it on my skin and let it on for sometime. it was greatly absorbed by my skin and no sticky feeling at all.. i did not put any serum up until 15 minutes after i applied this to see the effect and my skin glows.. super thankful to Style korean for this fantastic freebie..

This product is unscented, very smooth (a lot of slip), but less runny than a similar product I was previously using from another brand. It spreads easily, leaves a very nice finish on your skin, gives a great boost of hydration and moisture, and is perfect for layering under and over other products. It sinks in well and I do not have any issues with pilling or makeup application. I also use this after retin-a at night and it really helps to prevent the irritation/flaking that tretinoin can sometimes cause. On dryer days, you can apply more than one layer of this product. It does not feel heavy or oily. I do still need to use a heavier moisturizer afterwards as it is winter here now, but look forward to trying out the related gel cream in summer. The bottle is heavy and feels luxurious, and I'm way too amused shaking the bottle up each time. I saw my mom and sister after using this product for about a month and they asked why my skin was so "glowy". I think that's a good sign!

Love at first sight for me. My skin is combo dehydrated. This is nourishing (but not too nourishing and hydrating at the same time. Great runny milky texture very lightweight.(lighter than Laneige cream skin) gives a lovely glow to my skin Im very setisfied. Its actually quite powerful with these great combination of ingredients.

I did not notice any negative reaction, it does not clog the pores, does not provoke inflammation. It soothes the skin very well. Small red pimples disappear next day. It absorbs very quickly - my skin just drinks it up. It isn't sticky, heavy or greasy on my skin. I find this essence to be super moisturizing as it calms and soothes my skin. Thank you for giving me this chance to try this new release product, I really enjoy it! I was fall in love with this design for my first glance. It just looks like milk on the top and tea at the bottom. When you shake it well and mix the two phases, it just like how you make the milk tea. It also helps my skin to be hydrated. I also enjoy its smell. I’ll definitely repurchase this in the future.

It is quite lightweight and not heavy as I expected. It’s hydrating and slightly moisturizing. As a combination skin type, my skin feels nourished after 1-2 layers, and I don’t feel any lasting residue. Personally, I’ve been like using this in my nighttime routine, but may switch to both am and pm once it’s colder weather!
