This ginseng toner surprised me with its lovely scent, the natural aroma of ginseng is sweet and woody. The texture is much like water, and yet my skin feels hydrated and soothed after applying. It definitely makes my skincare routine more joyful, and since this is my first purchase from Beauty of Joseon I will be trying more because of this toner. I'm sensitive to (added/strong) fragrance and so this is a great natural choice if you're like me, the natural ginseng aroma doesn't linger, so you can sleep or go about your day happily.

I've heard so much good stuff about the effects of red ginseng, I had to try it. This is one of the few ginseng products that's in my price range, and while it may not be as potent as the stuff from Sulwhasoo, I definitely get my money's worth. It makes my face feel nourished and rosy! Fair warning to those with sensitive skin, though; it does sometimes cause some slight stinging around my nose, where my moisture barrier is weakest. (I have eczema.) Nothing serious, but those with similar concerns should be careful.

Wow. Hydration nation. I have dehydrated combo skin and this is like a drink of water to my face. I love it. You don't even need to layer it much to get that balancing and hydrating feel.

I like this essence. Real hydrating and has a strong herbal smell which I like. Have already repurchased another bottle.

I use this as an essence toner as the first step of my skincare routine, both day and night. There is a slight ginseng smell, but it is literally ginseng water. It leaves my skin with a nice layer of moisture and has helped make my skin smoother over time.

Love this combination of ginseng and niacinamide! Brightens and keeps skin firm!

Feels really refreshing on my skin, I really like it. 

 

It is a nice feeling after use, but I got to break out on next day. It is a good product, probably just not a good fit for my skin.

Panax Ginseng root water ,and has niacinamide 2% this essence water is so nice and nurturing on my older skin .First time using a essence water but I'm so glad I did get this ,such a beautiful product the only thing I don't like is the smell but not a that bad .

Very hydrating and definitely shows anti-aging activity in the long term.

This is a very soothing essence, more like a light toner in my opinion. It is great for layering (you can do up to 7 "skins" without it getting tacky) and helps creams absorb well. I use it as part of my night routine before Beauty of Joseon Dynasty cream and my skin feels soothed and calm.

I really enjoy this essence because it is watery yet you can feel a difference in your skin, suitable for acne prone skin, and also love the ginseng scent ❤️

Used together with the serum, absorbs very has, has nice texture and rich ingredients

Quite soothing and for the price, it works as a great essence. Super light in texture and absorbs really fast

Hydrating. I wanted to try this Ginseng Toner, since it's virtually impossible to get the higher quality Ginseng from other brands without alcohol, fragrances, and/or essential oils.

So, if you have oily skin this may not be the best for you. It’s the MOST moisturizing essence I own, and I own a lot a lot a lot of skincare!! Feels nice but not sure I see a difference. 

Adsorb well on to skin. Nice addition to skin routine

 

Combination skin.

This essence pretty much does nothing for my skin. Aside from that it, leaves a tacky feeling and it feels that it stays on my skin. Will NOT repurchase.

oh love . love . love ! it's basically niacinamide and ginseng . this is probably my 3rd or 4th bottle now . i don't ever want to run out of this . i'll always buy it when it's on sales .
