I've used both for yeaaars! I have dry/sensitive skin and I just love them. The Essence has a thicker consistency but absorbs quickly. Same with the cream, though i consider it has a lighter feel for a moisturizer. This moisturizes well and brightens my skin. My acne scars fade quicker when I use this and my face feels more plump when I wake the following morning
