I got this for my mom, without knowing what her shade would be. I got shade 23, which ended up being the perfect shade: my mom is on the creamy side, with a yellow overtone and a cool-neutral undertone. This was the perfect match. Now, she said she never wanted to use foundation again because they "always look cakey." But this was her review from Y2K products LOL. I got her some BB cream to make her happy, but she ended up liking this product the best LOLL. Here's why: the coverage is on the lower end, but that's great because this looks really natural on the skin. The skincare essence in the product really creates a beautiful "glowing skin" finish. It doesn't emphasize any fine lines or problems that aged skin may have. literally looked like skin. The packaging is also very luxurious feeling, so my mom was extremely happy in all aspects.

I love the packaging and formula of this cushion foundation. I have combination skin but feel this may work better with oily skin tones. The formula seemed to last the whole day, but I had dry patches at the end of the day. I would say this is sheer coverage but can be buildable.

First time using any type of “skin cushion” and I love it!! I do set it with a loose powder after, as its finish is just a bit too “wet” for me, but after setting it I love the glow it leaves!! Was a great first experience for me and the shade was great #21 light beige. I’m fair-light skinned with some redness/pigmentation and this layered well to even me out.
