As for the gel version, it is very lightweight and refreshing. I love using it on my face in the morning because it hydrates well without feeling heavy, and it doesn't pill under sunscreen. However, I didn't enjoy using the gel on my hands or body because it felt too light and wasn't moisturizing enough for those areas. For the face, though, it's excellent and especially suitable for oily skin during the summer.

That said, if you have very dry skin, this might not be enough on its own. For me, it works best as a lightweight daily moisturizer or as a soothing layer, but I sometimes need to add a richer cream on top when my skin feels extra dry.
