I really like the texture of the ampoule and the way it sits on my skin, it's almost oily but not quite so imo, quite hydrating, which is great for my dry skin that overproduces sebum. I'm not sure if there's any effects that I can point out per se that is solely because of this product since I'm trying a new skincare routine right now. But I do feel like the centella ingredient in this helps to calm down my skin especially after I clear some pimples. I do really need to trial it on its own or smthg haha. Bought this through the RSG program. I've heard lots of good things about it and was happy to try it. Overall, I quite like it and will likely purchase it again. Some of the things I liked: - The consistency is quite watery, allowing your skin to absorb it fairly quickly. - Definitely soothing. I used this after a skin treatment and it helped my skin calm down and it helped with the redness. - I'm not too sure how hydrating it is, but it's definitely not drying. I usually incorporate it along with other serums/creams. - It's definitely priced right (even without RSG) and a bottle will last for a while.

This was a VERY light and watery type toner. Never broke me out and had no scent that I could detect. After use the entire bottle, i have to admit I prefer others that have a slightly more viscous quality. This is the second product I've used from the Madagascar Centella line. Prior to this, I had already used the toner and I really came to like it since it's great for dealing with acne. This serum just like the toner is perfect for anyone who wants to reduce redness and acne while hydrating and brightening their skin at the same time. Honestly, I do like the serum since it's lightweight, easy to apply, and it does deliver results. I do recommend pairing this serum with the toner since it will allow you to achieve much faster results. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the dropper since, I prefer serums with pumps, but this is just a personal preference of mine. Lastly, I feel that after trying this serum I will try other products from the Madagascar Centella line (or from SKIN1004) since I've found that their products do work for me.

It is difficult for me to find a product that when applied does not leave my skin red or cause breakouts, this product has a fairly light texture, almost like water, which is absorbed when in contact with the skin, my skin is sensitive, oily and I have rosacea, and it works perfectly for me, also soothe my skin instantly without leaving it oily. This one has the main ingredient cenetella asiatica extract, which is good for soothing the skin and helping to protect the skin barrier.  Where I live it's Fall and winter is soon approaching so my climate here is quite cold and dry.  In winter time, I usually suffer from dry, chacked skin so this product would be the perfect addition to add to my fall/winter skincare routine.  Ampoules are more potent than serums, they would offer my skin a double dose of hydration and protection against the harsh elements. This product has a thin, slippery texture that spreads evenly and absorbs quickly seeping into the skin.  However, it goes on tacky but dries down to a skin-like finish.  Has this almost light cotton-like scent to it.  My skin feels well-hydrated and taken care of.  Love it!  Would definitely buy this one again!

I am a big fan of Korean skincare packaging....manufacture and expiration dates are included on the box and usually on the bottle too. I like that the boxes come sealed. This product comes in a heavy glass bottle with a reducer in the neck to help keep the product fresh and reduce the risk of spilling if the bottle is tipped over. The pipette looks to go all the way to the bottom so I feel it will be easy to use up all the product. There is a generous 1.69 ounces of product so it should last for a long time. The serum has a light, silky water texture. It is refreshing when applied and soaks in easily. The Centella is very soothing. I like to use this ampoule after my actives to prevent irritation. I don't detect any scent. I'm very happy to have this product to add to my rotation when I'm experiencing any irritation.

To be honest, I have not really felt any of the effects of this ampoule as I have pretty good skin generally (healthy, non-compromised skin barrier). Its runny texture + fragrance-free feature means it almost feels like adding water to my face and because it is so runny, it is difficult to apply by adding the drops to my fingers. Instead, I’ve taken to using the dropper straight on my face (being careful not to touch my face to avoid cross-contamination). It absorbs quickly, leaves a light glow but does not feel hydrating enough so I layer on another hydrating serum on top of this. I also feel the need to mention the packaging as it is just GORGEOUS and so well thought out. On the front it just seems like a lightly tinted bottle but if you turn it 180°, there’s actually a photo of Madagascar Island, where Skin1004 sources their cica from, on the back of the label. The end of the dropper is also slanted to make it easier to get those last bits of ampoule out at the end

I have combination skin that gets oily in my T-zone and really dry around my mouth, so I was looking for something hydrating but not overwhelming for summer. The consistency of the Ampole is fairly runny and watery but still absorbs into the skin nicely.
