I love Abib's heartleaf series. It feels soothing and calming; lightweight. Heartleaf has calming properties/anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial. My skin was feeling irritated and I used the abib heartleaf serum and after a few minutes, the irritation did go away. It absorbs well into the skin. I use this and the heartleaf toner.

This is a nice lightweight but hydrating serum that I like to use daily, but especially if my skin is irritated. The first ingredient is heartleaf so it’s very soothing. It does have bergamot and lavender oils but I don’t notice any scent or irritation.

The formula notably addresses fine lines & wrinkles, aging concerns, dehydration, pores, hyperpigmentation, oily & blemish prone skin types. You may be asking what makes this one different? The answer is the ingredients. The one that truly stands out, though, is succinic acid. It is not a mainstream ingredient & it has benefits & properties similar to salicylic acid. However, there are some differences. While it isn't an exfoliant, it will help control sebum. There are antibacterial properties. It can help restore your skin's pH balance & reverse visible signs of aging. Crazy right? It was a clear, watery, gel-like consistency. I don't get much irritation from skincare products, but it was still very calming. There was no discernable scent. It wasn't sticky, tacky, or greasy. Plus, my skin just drank it up like I hadn't watered it in weeks. Also, there are no noticeable dry, dead skin cells. This time of year, I normally have them around my nose.

It has a runny consistency, and doesn't have any smell. It's very light and absorbs well & quick. I think it will be the best for the hotter season, instead of winter. If your skin type is oily and if you're looking for something light and adds moisture, this is IT! I have a combination skin, and my T zone(forehead & nose) is oily, so I applied it only once on my T zone, and layered it 2- 3 times on my U zone (cheek & jawline) where I feel more dried. This product has been a holy grail for me this summer with all the heat irritation and humidity! My skin just gets more sensitive with extreme weather change, so this has helped to calm it down and reduce the stinging irritation that I get. I also really enjoy putting this in the fridge for a while before applying, so it has a cooling effect! Definitely a good serum for sensitive skin and for the hot summer! Cómo si nombre lo indica “Calming Pump” me entusiasmó, su textura es más de serum que esencia, se absorbe rápido y muy bien en la piel, no ocasionó irritación alguna en mi piel. Cómo serum hidratante le doy un 10/10, pero como calmante 7/10, lo puse a prueba varias veces con la rosácea activada y nada. Personalmente me funciona mejor la cica y artemisia para mi rosácea. Me gusta usarlo en mis manos y cuello cuando siento la piel de la zona súper deshidratada. Gracias a @stylekorean que me dió la oportunidad de probarlo a cambio de una reseña honesta.

This essence feels so soothing and calming when my skin was irritated. I experienced slight reduction of redness from some inflammation and activities on my cheeks when utilizing this essence. The ingredient that intrigued me the most to try this essence is the inclusion of Succinic Acid to control and regulate sebum production. I can attest that this essence helped my oily/acne prone skin produce less sebum throughout the day, leaving my oily-type skin with less shine.
