I use this instead of toner after washing, it helps with redness and irritations
I have sensitive skin that’s a combo of oily/dry. I never really used toner before and my face was so much more oily. After using Thayers toner for years, and although there’s no alcohol in it, I feel like it’s made my face more dry now. I stopped using toner (I’ve read many times that there’s no proven benefit that toner helps balance pH levels in your skin or that it “helps absorb products better”). I started using these essence pads after cleansing instead of toner, and I feel like it’s made my face happier! The essence pads make my face feel rehydrated before applying more serums & moisturizing. Doesn’t irritate my skin and I helped ease my redness. I will continue this at night time but I don’t see any problems using it in the morning also. Comes in a nice container with a good seal so you shouldn’t experience pads drying out. And I feel like there will be a lot of leftover liquid/essence which you can still use with cotton rounds. Recommend this product!
