However, the product did not play well with mineral sunscreens and bb creams since it made them crease more. I would totally recommend this spf for people with oily skin or if you need to matiffy your sunscreen.

Initial impressions, wow that’s so small and tiny but also very cute! Great size to get into all the small places. Was worried about dragging but it glided on well. Matt but not flat and chalky. No white cast and zero fragrance not even a sunscreen smell. Skin is protected without a final shiny layer. I would recommend to anyone wanting to avoid sunscreen shine! I like Beauty of joseon as a brand & their anesthetic a lot ... it's rare to me to not like a product from their collection ,unfortunately! this sun stick was one of what I totally didn't like ,particularly cause I had a high hopes for it ,and then after trying it ... everything was like back down to earth... first the pros: the packaging is so minimal and adorable... it has no chemical sunscreens smell whatsoever ,size for longevity is so good this 18g stick will last a while ,it's eye safe and has a strong protection capabilities ,finally the price is decent ... Cons: I truly didn't like the texture and the finish on the skin ... it has a sort of a matte waxy finish and if anything touches my skin it transfers and unpleasant wet patch show through ... it's like the the formula is breaking down and terns to patchy look ... my final issue is ,when it hits my skin it provides a kind of a heat and takes a bit to calmed down ... not recommended for combo to dry and sensitive skin

I received this product by paying 3.3 USD in the stylekorean Ready, set and flow section in order to give my honest review. This product is absolutely awesome! It has mugwort and Camellia which help calm the skin and make it less inflamed. These ingredients are the ones I love to have in my routine (besides salicylic acid and hyaluronic acid) It's super cute and small packaging, really convenient, it fits all purses. As you know, it's necessary to reapply some layers of sun sticks, so this one si fantastic for reapplication since it gives You a matte finish while making your face feel the softest. It's Nice for for oily skin, but also any skin type if you live in a humid climate. It goes well on makeup, but it moves (a little bit) probable because of the stick format. I usually don't wear makeup, so it wasn't a problem for me. If you want to feel really protected with a sun stick by applying a lot of layers, GET THIS ONE! Definitely 9.5/10.

Unfortunately, this sunscreen it’s not suitable for acne-prone skin. In my personal experience, it broke me out within a couple of hours of use. It does mattify at the beginning but gets oily afterward very quickly. Plus, it has this feeling like Vaseline like it never gets absorbed. It was a no for me.

I finally got to try the viral sunstick from beauty of joseon and i’m in love! at first i thought it would make my face too matte and the application would be difficult but it glides on smoothly on the skin and it doesn’t affect your makeup! I first had my doubts about whether the sunstick would actually be matte, but I can now affirm that it is. I typically use Beauty of Joseon relief sunscreen on my face because it is difficult to apply it evenly, and I carry the matte sunstick with me to reapply the layers throughout the day. This gives me a strong base, but at the end of the day my skin does not feel overly hydrated (especially in the summer). So this is undoubtedly a special product with excellent features; when used with sunscreen cream, it is truly powerful! In the images u can clearly see where I have applied the product. It has an amazing blurring effect. Recommend to all my fellow darker skinned girls as well cause there is zero white cast.

I got to try this product through R.S.G! Thank you StyleKorean for giving an opportunity to try the product. Packaging: Stick type foundation, about the size of my palm. There is a wheel at the bottom to dispense the product. Very small and compact. Formulation wear: This mostly glides easily, but it does tug across the skin at some points, so I need to go over the area or spread it with my fingers to ensure it's applied properly. The finish is matte and soft, so this is great for those with oily skin! I throw this in my car so I can re-apply during car rides! This is okay for re-applying over make up, I have oily skin so some of it comes off on the stick, but easy to take off with a napkin.

I enjoyed Beauty of Joseon's other sunscreen, Relief Sun and wanted to try their new matte sun stick. Thanks to RSG, I was able to try this sun stick out. There isn't any fragrance to it and it glides easily on the face. I don't however know how much to put on my face so I made sure to go around at least 3 times around my face. Overall, it's a great sun stick and fits perfectly in my bag. It's great for on-the-go and I mainly use it for reapplying.

Great for warmer weather or oily skin people. I have combination, sensitive skin and I had no reaction to the product. Does not leave any white cast or greasy finish (after rubbing it in). I like this sun stick as it makes re-application so easy. Hands free. It’s also small enough to fit into a bag or pocket. It does have one downside as I am not sure how much I have to apply each time. Therefore, I do apply several times on my face, just to be safe. On first application, several small pieces of the sun stick did fall out and was on my face. However, once I used it several times, it did not break off from the main stick.

I've been soo exited to try this sun stick after Ramon's video but they sold out soo quickly I was late. So I've been very happy to have opportunity like this to try it now. First of all I really liked that packaging it's so small and convenient to leave in my purse. I'd wanted to say that all It reminded me of tocobo sunstick cuz they have very similar finish. Yeap, it's really looks matte but feels a bit "waxy" I don't mind it at all cuz I only use it for reapplication over my slight makeup. This is my first sun stick and I was really excited to try it out! There's no overly strong fragrance and no white cast. I did notice some make up residue left on the sun stick though but it didn't take away too much coverage so I wasn't too bothered by that. It's advertised as a matte sun stick but so far, it hasn't been too drying on my skin despite it being on the drier side from winter. I did notice that it did end up settling in some lines, so those areas will need to be blended in.

I adore this stick of sunscreen! For people who produce excessive amounts of sebum or who just want a matte look, it is truly wonderful. Silky feel to it, with sheer coverage, non-drying for my sensitive skin with excess sebum. I am so glad I got this early on as summer is now starting where I am, I can attest to its effectiveness as a UVA/UVB blocker at this time, but so far, I can't complain. I advise trying it out!

I really like the concept of this as it’s easy to use and on the go. It didn’t break me out but kinda clogged my skin and it’s quite matte so made my dry skin worse and made the texture not great. It sat well and instantly mattifys though! I think if you don’t have dry or dryer skin with texture and don’t break out easily it would work well. The dryer areas were not left desert dry and overall my skin likes this. Only bad part is, the silica left a white ish cast on my facial hair. This sunscreen stick seemed quite similar to the others that I have tried. Bit of a silicone feel to it not I'm not super fond of but I think is common for sticks. Feels slightly greasy when applying (but so did the other sticks i tried), despite that it seems to have a matte finish. It did also shift my makeup a little bit but still looked ok. Maybe my skin is too dry for this to perform well, but I found the consistency dragged on my skin more than other sun sticks but left a weird, mask-like feeling on my skin. It unfortunately also irritated my skin and I ended up with a rash. I do like that it's a convenient size to fit in your purse but I'm heartbroken that it's not quite like their other sunscreen

I’ve been using the product almost three weeks. It was my first sunstick that I’ve trued. My skin is combination with oily on T zone. It mattifies my oily part, but it doesn’t make dry for my other parts of my face. I’m using it reapply for over the make up and still looks nice after applying the sunstick. Cute size and packaging. Love it.

This sun stick is perfect for dry skin. It applies matte, and almost feels like nothing on the skin. Because it applies matte, you do have to swipe it a couple of times on the skin in order to get the SPF coverage. The packaging is really easy to use, and because it’s a stick this would be best use for reapplication of sunscreen throughout the day. It’s also great for sensitive skin, as it didn’t irritate my sensitive skin.

I was surprised by how tiny this was, but it makes it easier to bring around for retouches throughout the day. The texture is nice, not too sticky or too waxy or too cottony. The size makes it easy to use all over the face since it’s small enough for the curves of the face. It doesn’t leave a white cast, applies smoothly with minimal tugging, and is easy to throw into any bag.

Personally I am not a fan of matte products as I have dry skin and do prefer a dewy look, however it did not leave my skin dry or crusty which is why I kinda liked this sunstick. After application, initial feeling is that this sunscreen is easy to apply and re-apply, and the matte-ness is amazing! However, after a while, my sensitive and dehydrated skin showed me the results clearly - dryness and tightness. I can only say that this sunscreens is really for oily skin and not for dry skin. I'm sure that it will be amazing for oily skin. Soo it's very hard too rate this product coz I love the stuck form and the matte-ness ... but just that it's really not for my skin type.

The BOJ sun stick is a refreshing new take on their only sunscreen available, thus far. Unlike, the rice sunscreen, this sun protectants had a solid consistency that leaves a semi-matte finish even in re-application. While lathering it on my face I noticed a small film that build up after each use and if not removed leaves some pilling around the face. Avoiding the pilling, is vital to the overall attraction of the sun stick, which is why I recommend slightly heating up with the palm of your hands before applying it to the face and do one to two swatches on the hand just before using it on the face to remove any excess film. Because of this extra step one has to take before applauding, I would rate this sunscreen a 3.8 or 4/5. I do believe there are other sun stick that don’t leave a residue on the face that can apply by simply gliding on the skin, while accomplishing that semi-matte finish. But, if you with to judge this product on your own terms it’s still a very good sunscreen.

Compared to my other sun stick (t*c*b* & m*ry*may)his is so far the best one. Since it's chemical, it doesn't tone my skin up (which i like). Matte-finish, light weight, and smooth so easy to glide through my face & neck. It stays matte longer than the other 2 and great to wear under heimish bb tinted moisturizer

This Beauty of Joseon sun stick is one of the best I have used. It glides on smoothly and is matte on the skin with a powdery soft touch. It is easy to use and except around nose and ears like all stick sunscreens. I just rub with my fingers in those areas to be sure they are covered. I like the small size for application, but other sun sticks are similarly priced and there is more product. I have used about 1/3 of the stick in 2 to 3 applications. It is quick, put on and go, but not for everyday use. One thing I didn't like is small bits of the stick would break off around the edges and they would have to be rubbed into the skin. Be aware my oily sisters, towards the end of the day reapplication doesn't go on smoothly and tends to bunch up in creases.

I really wanted to try this sun stick with ingredients like Camelia, Mugwort, Tumeric, Green tea extract & Centella Asiatica. It is best for oily or combination skin as it has a sebum controlling silica powder. This sunscreen has no Niacinamide, which is a nice change from others I’ve tried recently. This sun stick is matte, silky and has a very dry touch/feel. I have been using this for reapplication later in the day after my initial cream SPF application and after blotting my skin. The good news is that this is a unique sun stick. It feels like a primer, blurring pores, and leaving your skin more even and mattified. It has a rounded bar shape, which is acceptable for application of large, flat areas, but not as good for the smaller crevasses and dips on the face. I usually have to use my fingers to try to spread the formula over those areas. It can also accentuate dry patches, so ensure your skin is hydrated. I can't really tell how much I'm applying due to the formula. The sunscreen itself seems to stay in place well and doesn't bother my eyes; however, the texture of this feels somewhat sandy and perhaps a bit irritating upon application since it doesn't glide very well on skin due to the dry feel. Worth the purchase, but there are better options out there like AHC sun stick if you wear a lot of makeup, or oil isn't a concern of yours. Pros: - blots oil VERY well; works just as good as blotting paper or mattifying powder - leaves skin feeling smooth, refreshed and lightly moisturized - has a soft satin-matte finish without skin looking cakey or dry Cons: - tugs at skin and has a tendency to lift makeup off because of the stiffer/harder formula - less suitable for medium to heavy makeup wearers (imo) or anyone that wears foundation; very light makeup would be ok - stick is flat on top so covers large areas easily, but doesn't quite contour into the curves/sides of the nose - stick isn't as wide as other sticks so will need to glide several times across face to cover entire face fully (vs. a wider stick)

Not my favorite but a decent sun stick. Pros: Glides on clear and gives a velvety finish. It's unscented, which is great for people with sensitive skin. SPF 50. No irritation. Cons: It's super small. You can definitely get a better & bigger product for less $$. It doesn't do as great a job as I'd like with oil control. My forehead gets shiny a few hours after application, so I need to use powder.

Right of the bat, I fell in love with this one! True to its claims, it instantly mattified my skin at one swipe. it glides on the skin easily. It feels a bit waxy tho. Idk if you can see it but It does leave a little bit of whitecast. I noticed how it also pills after applying more than 1 layer. I wouldn't recommend to wear this under or over makeup. It has mugwort which is one of my fave calming ingredients! It has a cooling property making it perfect for hot summer days! I was expecting this to have a herbal scent but it's totally fragrance free. I've been using this nonstop over the past days to reapply my sunscreen, it's just so addicting. This sun stick is pretty good. The only issue that I had with it was that I saw some peeling that happened right as I applied it. It’s not too bad once you blend it in. This probably wouldn’t be the best option for people with dry skin.

I was really hoping that I would love this sun stick by Beauty of Joseon, because they are one of my favorite brands, and I did! It glided on my face very smoothly without leaving behind uneven globs of product. It does not feel heavy on my skin and does not feel sticky to the touch at all. I love the fact that it has the added benefit of some skincare ingredients in there. It doesn’t feel moisturizing like some other sun care products, which I typically love to have since I have dry/mature skin, but at the same time, it did not dry out my skin. So for the convenience of having a sun stick, I’m ok with that. I apologize for the slight color variance in my two photos, because the lighting shifted between photos since it was a cloudy day, but this did tone me up and mattify me a little bit, which I won’t mind in the summer when I’ll be super shiny from the heat. If I had one suggestion for improvement, I would change the shape a little bit to contour the face better while applying.
