I've purchased several of Mary & May products already and I do like their formulas and ingredient choices. However, this sun stick contains bakuchiol which is similar to retinol except your skin doesn't get scorched! The sun stick feels amazing gliding over your face and leaves a natural glow/shine. I'll probably start using this every day for the next few months to see how the bakuchiol and peptides help with my routine and overall skin complexion! 5/5 After spending 5 days in indio and severely lacking sleep, my skin has never looked so good before and the one thing I did consistently was apply/reapply this sun stick. By the end of my indio trip, my skin looked exactly the same before I went on my indio trip; well moisture/hydrated, bright, and clear of white heads. 5/5 sun stick, absolutely amazing for my skin.

I'm sensitive to fragrance, but no issue with this one. Probably if You are oily and don't have something in your routine that controls your sebum, you won't like this... since it's super hydrating and glowy NOR if you live in really humid climates. This would be an honest review of the product. I really the light smell of floral from this sun stick. Plus, this product is 100% vegan (cruelty-free) which attracted me to purchase it. Moreover, I’ve been a big fan of Mary & May products and I always want to purchase them due to their reliable quality and effectiveness. When I put this on my face it makes it so soft that I can’t stop touching it! It does control oil well, and I liked how it held up with makeup. But the stick applicator isn’t ideal for an even application to the face, as you have to use your fingers anyway to spread it over uneven areas. If you want a matte finish sun stick this is the one to go for. It goes on smoothly but it does peel sometimes under makeup around the hairline. I’m willing to overlook this as the peeling isn’t too bad and there’s not many matte sun stick in the market. I would’ve have given it 5 stars but I like the boj sun stick better as it gives an even more matte finish. Overall still great. Id say if you don’t want to look too matte go for this

Got this & the BOJ sun stick to try. They contain the same amount of product but you can see that the BOJ sun stick is a bit more compact. This does have a slight scent, not an unpleasant one thankfully. Goes on smoothly and doesn't leave a white cast but there will be make up residue on the stick after application.

On a whim, I gave it a go, and I'm so pleased I did. This is one of my all-time favorite sun stick! The formulation is sophisticated. The application is perfect. It isn't oily, absorbs quickly, and doesn't even slightly irritate my extremely sensitive skin. Excellent as your final skincare step, but it also looks great under makeup. This is a moisturizing sun stick. I have dry skin and it is pretty moisturizing. although it's purple it glides on to skin clear, no white cast. Not too sure how in the long run the anti aging effects of the bakuchiol will effect my skin but I am hoping that it will do what it claims.

This is my first sunscreen stick. The packaging looks amazing and the purple/lavender color of the sunscreen stick is beautiful. The packaging is in both English and Korean which I appreciate. I got this sunscreen stick mainly because of the listed anti-aging ingredients (bakuchiol and peptides). I had high expectations but they were not met. It is very easy to apply and it glides on smoothly like silk on the skin. Unfortunately it leaves a balm-like texture on my face. Also because it is very moisturizing, my face feels greasy and quite shiny before and after reapplication. It's even worse if I apply the sunscreen over other serums, moisturizers and non-stick sunscreens. I have combination skin and I don't think that this is a good sunscreen for that type of skin, perhaps better for people with dry skin. My final verdict is that this sunscreen stick is definitely not for me and I would not recommend it for people with combination stick. Such a pity - I so wanted to like it.

If you check out the ingredients list, there is the longest list of peptides you will ever encounter. For a sunstick, I'm not sure how effective it is but I'm still impressed. This is a moisturizing sunscreen that dries down to a very soft texture on the skin. I'm never sure how much to apply when it comes to a sunstick. I layered 4 to 5 times depending on the day's uv index. That seemed to work fine for me. One thing I did notice is that the one time I did apply my base makeup, it didn't sit too well on top of this sunscreen. Other than that, I think it's a pretty good sunstick.

So I didn’t have much expectations for this one because it’s a new product and I haven’t heard much about it, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. First off, it does have a scent, as some of their products do tend to have, so if you’re sensitive to that, it may not be the best for you. However, while I am usually sensitive to products with scents, so far Mary & May’s products haven’t broken me out yet. The sunstick is a bit bigger than beauty of joseon but smaller than Abib. The product itself is a light purple, which can be a bit daunting at first, but the color doesn’t really show upon application. It applies smoothly and I think even brightened my skin a little bit. I’m really fond of this sun stick, it even made my interest grow into trying out other products in the Mary & May Peptide Bakuchiol line. This sun stick has a very faint sweet berry scent. When applauding this sun stick it easily glided in my skin and didn’t leave any noticeable white cast, despite being a semi-matte sun stick. I really like the fact it doesn’t sit heavy on my dermis. I haven’t noticed any change in my skin’s shade or irritation/sensitivity on my skin despite spending more hours under the sun now days, so that to me is an indication it’s doing a great job! I love the ease and the comfort of a sunscreen in stick form. Super easy to use without the mess of a cream or lotion. Compact enough to toss in your purse or bag. Has a powdery texture when applied leaving you with a silky, matte finish. Love that it's non-greasy and helps control no shine. My skin feels soft, soothed, and moisturized. Has a pretty lavender colour to the stick but goes on clear and a lovely scent of spring time freshness, plus contains the ingredient Bakuchiol extract to help prevent wrinkles.

I was excited to try this sun stick. It has 25 different types of peptides for collagen regeneration, including Hexapeptide-2 for brightening, 1% Bakuchiol helps repair skin damage and tocopherol provides wrinkle protection. The soft silky texture is infused with powder to absorb sebum & oil, & is a pretty purple shade. It just glides on skin, leaving it with a natural finish & no white cast. I liked how the slim shape makes it easy to apply all over the face, even around the nose & eyes, & small enough to carry around. There is no sticky feel and I recommend for all skin types.

The scent is a bit off putting but it doesn’t irritate. It has a silky/balmy texture but upon application but doesn’t have an oily finish. It would probably suit dry skin types more. It is just ok. This would not be my go to sunstick.

I LOVE this sunstick! It did an awesome job of giving my skin a matte appearance, which is great for us oily gals. It smells amazing, with a light, clean scent. It blended really well and didn't leave any cast. The only downside is it is expensive, but this is the best sunstick I've tried and I will probably be repurchasing when I run out.

It's easy to use, adds matte finish on skin which lasts quite long (although i didn't have an opportunity to test it in hot and sunny weather). Skin feels very smooth after use, too.

tl;dr: - No white cast - Did not further dry my extra dry skin - Leaves silky feeling on skin - Blurred pores = works great as a primer - Very convenient for travel ---- I quite like this sunstick. I have very dry skin, and the sunsticks I've tried usually make my skin a bit more lackluster. This didn't happen with this stick. I usually have around 7 steps of skin care before I apply my make up, my base is a tinted hydrator/cream as I find I don't need much more coverage, and most foundations dry my skin a bit more. But due to the intensive skin care layering I do, sometimes with the tinter hydrator, I do get a bit of oil/shine on my nose. That was not a problem with this sunstick. I even found that it blurred my pores a bit, so it felt great as a primer. I also have a medium skin tone, and there was no white cast. And it's very convenient.

I’ve never used a stick sunscreen before but I can honestly say, I absolutely love this. You just twist up the bottom, apply it all over your face and then replace the cap. It doesn’t feel sticky or clog my pores. It’s very gentle and goes on easily. It’s compact so it’s easy to throw in your bag and use as needed. This product is also plant based and vegan. So, no more worrying about the chemicals you’re applying to your face. It’s SPF 50 so you know you’re getting good coverage against harmful UV rays. I would definitely recommend this product if you’re looking for something clean that can be taken with you for easy application.

This sunstick is quite hydrating. I have dry skin and this doesn't just protect my skin from the UVA and UBA, but hydrates my skin at the same time. It's very easy to apply. I roll the product on my face 4 times on each specific spot in order to ensure the protection. I normally use this for reapplying because it's very convenient and I find no reason to skip reapplying. Also, it's small which makes it so easy to carry around. The color of the wax is purple and the it also comes in purple form. The ingredients seem to be great. This product is VEGAN, ANIMAL Cruelty Free and is known as a CLEAN Beauty product. The packaging is very environmentally friendly which it's not really surprising when it comes to Mary&May. I also noticed that the package contains a very informative details on the inner side of the box.

I really love the fragrance and the texture of the stick, it just spreads smoothly on to the skin, very handy and easy to apply and very lite and has a velvety texture to little on the oily side and since I have oily skin it makes me and looking little oily over my face when I apply on the skin, May be it suits the dry skin better than me.

I really wanted to like this product because of the skincare ingredients but I found it just didn't work for me in terms of formulation and fragrance. It applies with a bit of tugging as the stick can be stiff to start off with, but it did warm up and soften as it was applied to the face. It wiped most of my makeup off, unfortunately, because of the stiff application. It left a satin-soft application, slightly moisturizing, but it was very strongly fragranced with a floral scent to the point I could smell it constantly on my face. The fragrance did eventually dissipate but it's a dealbreaker for me personally and I wouldn't reach for it.

One of the best sun stick that I have try, a little scent so i dock a point, almost matte finish, a little shine, no white cast and really smooth. It does not break you out. It is smaller than most sun stick I've try, but very good for on the go.

This is my favorite sunstick. I admit, I didn't expect to love it as much as I do. It's literally perfect in every way. It's purple but goes on clear. Amazing velvety texture that also makes my skin super soft. Doesn't irritate, doesn't clog pores, so lightweight I forget I'm even wearing it. Hydrates my skin while offering GREAT oil control. This sunslitck isn't even advertised for oil control but does better job that other sunsticks that claim to be for oily skin. I literally don't need to use powder when I'm wearing this. My skin stays matte and fresh all day. I don't know how it will work for people with very oily skin, but for my combination skin-it's godsent. It is lightly-scented. The scent is so gentle and light, it doesn't bother me at all. To me, this one is a keeper. Will definitely buy again.

This Marion May sunstick packs a punch with the added benefits of bakuchiol and peptides, it's more than your average sunstick. It has a nice cream texture that glides on smoothly with a very light scent that dissipates quickly. I enjoy using this for an easy reapplication through out the day.

I love sunscreen sticks and I love them even more when they have nice ingredients which is backuchiol in this case! Very handy to have in your bag all the time, leaves a nice and smooth finish but it can color your skin a little if you apply too many layers. Great for touch ups!

(did i use this gen z slang right? lol This sunstick from Mary & May comes in a very cute purple packaging (s/o to all my co-armys! please stream Set Me Free Pt. 2!!!!). Something interesting about this sunstick is it contains bakuchiol which is a plant derived retinol & 25 other peptides that help skin aging concerns. What I like about this is it doesn't only protect my skin from the harmful UV rays but it also has other benefits. It has a powdery floral scent that smells very refreshing. It can be a little bothersome if you're not a fan of scents since the scent can linger for quite a while. As you can see, it glides perfectly on the skin without struggle. It claims to absorb excess sebum and oils. I'm not quite sure if it did that for me but it did give a natural glowy finish. I would recommend this to people with combination to dry skin! Oily skin peeps, you can also give this a try if you're into SPFs with glowy finish!

I’ve tried a few sun stick that were released this year and this one has got to be my favorite out of all them. It feels very light and helps with oil control through the day. I’m extremely impressed by how fresh my face looks after 10 hrs, which usually never happens with any sunscreen. Will definitely be repurchasing this!!

While I really liked the soft texture and how easy it was to apply, I have to say I'm not a fan of the scent. The violet color is beautiful, but the strong floral scent is just too much for me. Even when I only apply it to my arms, the scent lingers on for hours and gives me a headache. If you're someone who doesn't mind strongly scented products, then the Mary & May sun stick might be a great option for you. The texture is lovely and the stick is easy to glide onto your skin. However, if you're sensitive to fragrances like I am, then you might want to steer clear of this product.
