First time I tried this was back in 2015, I liked it then. I was excited to try it again this time to see if it's still the same. The scent was too strong for me. I don't remember it having a kind of scent and so I was surprised. Applying it was still the same. It melts easily on your hand and on your face. Left my skin feeling so smooth after washing. But it broke me out the next morning so that made me sad. Overall, it still is a good product maybe just not for me anymore.

Honestly, I understand the hype over this product! I started my journey with makeup wipes, which stripped my skin and then micellar water for past 10 years. This is my first time using cleansing balm and it’s very similar to coconut oil, vaseline, and baby oil but without all the pain. This balm instantly melts all my makeup, even my waterproof eyeliner + mascara with ease and 4 layers of sunscreen using only a penny size of product. After washing with a gentle cleanser, my skin felt so soft and hydrated. I’ve never used such a gentle but powerful cleansing product. I instantly fell in love, I love it! Will repurchase!

This was a solid makeup removing cleansing balm. I used it at night to remove makeup and residual sunscreen from the day. It a light scent but wasn’t overwhelming and didn’t irritate my eyes. I also never felt like my skin was stripped after using this. The only thing I ran into was that it did take a bit more work to warm up the product and spread over the face than what I’m used to with other similar products.

I got this through the RSG program. It's an excellent cleansing balm that quickly melts my makeup off and washes away without over-stripping or leaving behind a residue. I'm unsure how it works with eye makeup as I use a separate eye makeup remover due to my sensitive eyes. It has a nice smell to it without overpowering. Will definitely repurchase.

This product works incredibly well to remove all dirt, makeup and impurities from the skin. You apply this balm onto a dry skin and rub around with your fingertips to dissolve and remove any makeup, dirt, SPF or oils. It spreads smoothly and works quickly, and wash off with water. I would recommend using a second cleanser like washing cleanser or water cleanser or at least going over the eyelids/lashes with an eye makeup remover to ensure no debris is left behind in the lashes. It doesn’t leave any greasy feeling or residues behind on the skin. So it is very simple, effective and affordable product.

It works well even with the waterproof makeup, but does not dry or irritate the skin. There is very light nice scent, and it's very convenient to use, and one more bonus for me is that you don't need to use any pads with it, so comparing to liquid makeup removers there is less waste / less environmental impact (at least on consumption phase). But, comparing to the BOJ cleaning balm, this one has a little bit of a smell and it seems like by comparison, it doesn't clean my nose (prone to having black heads) as well. I've been wanting to try this product for a while now. The balm immediately melts down into a silky smooth oil and is a pleasure to use. It leaves my skin feeling clean, yet it doesn't dry it out, which is unusual for my super sensitive skin. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars from me is the scent. I use this at night to remove any makeup and/or sunscreen, taking a scoop onto dry skin, massaging it on my face and neck. It spreads easily, turning into an oil to cleanse off everything effectively. Once you add water, it emulsifies into a milky texture that easily rinses off. It removes all makeup except waterproof mascara completely, but I use a separate eye makeup remover. (Unsure if this stings eyes or not) I like how it doesn’t irritate or strip skin, and it doesn’t leave a filmy residue. It does contain several essential oils that give this balm the herbal/citrus scent. These EOs may cause irritation if you have sensitive skin although product is marketed as hypoallergenic. However I do think this is one of the better cleansing balms out there and would repurchase again

This balm is one of my holy grails. The balm starts as a solid but once you start rubbing it in your skin it melts completely. It removes all my make up and/or sunscreen. Once you start rubbing your face with a little bit of water, it turns into a milky soap. It does dry my face nor leave it greasy. I really enjoy the mild scent. The smells is like lavender and eucalyptus together but very subtle. Is inexpensive compared to others. I have purchased this balm many times and will continue to do so.

I prefer to use cleansing balm instead of cleansing oil because it is less messy when I rub the product in my hand and into my face. I use Heimish’s cleansing balm as my first step of double cleansing to remove sunscreen and makeup. It works effectively and gets rid of all waterproof products without irritating or leaving a trace of oiliness behind. It has not broken me out even though I have sensitive and acne skin.
