As a beginner, I was a little weary to use an essence in my routine, but once I bought this I was hooked. It is the ultimate light weight essence toner to add into your am or pm routine. Though I noticed a different in how hydrating it was for my skin, I did not see a significance in brightening. I think for the price, I would continue you purchase!
