This essence is really moisturizing. The more I layer it on (like 3 times), the better it works for my skin. The consistency of the essence is sticky and gooey like the mucus of a snail, but in a good way. I mean if you think about it like that, then it's gross, but actually it is very moisturizing. Because of that consistency, it has the effect of plumping up the skin. I would recommend using it at night because layering makeup over it would make the skin feel a little tacky. I would definitely purchase again.

This is always my second step in my skincare routine, I love how it sits on my skin and I do believe it is lessening my dark spots, it's just not immediate.
