It went on fine and dried in about 20 mins. If you do not put it on thick enough it is hard to remove - it just flakes. I did not find it painful to pull off when I applied a thick layer. My skin was squeaky clean after peeling off the black mask.

I love this! I use this once a week as part of my skin routine at night and it definitely takes black and white heads out. It prevents acne/pimples from forming. I will continue to order!
