It smells like strawberry yogurt. I left the mask on my face for 30 minutes. I prefer that most of the essence is absorbed before I remove the mask for a less sticky after feel. It did leave my face noticeably brighter albeit temporarily.

It does smell faintly of coconut milk. There's more than enough essence that you can save the leftover essence and use it as a pack on your cheeks the next day. I left it on for 30 minutes then pat my face to soak up what remained on my face.
