I layered this serum when I had redness from new acne. It effectively calmed my skin and diminished the inflammation. It didn't dry my pimple but it helped minimize the size of it.

I try it when my face is sensitive but then i notice a acne pop up everytime i tried it so maybe it doesn’t work for me
