I usually find that most lip and eye removers tend to sting around the eyes but so far, this has not irritated my eyes. I use this to only take off eyeshadow, pencil eyeliner, and foundation so I can't attest to the cleansing power for something like mascara but it works really well for my needs.

This works really well with removing make-up from not only the eyes and lips but all over the face. It also doesn't sting my eyes like some other make-up removers have. I removed a star since I don't like the oily feeling but it's not a heavy oily feeling so I can still use the product.
