I didn't realize this was totally waterproof until I bought it and tried taking it off with my foam cleanser, LOL. This mascara will last through literally everything and you should use an oil cleanser or some other makeup dissolver to get it off, it really is THAT smudge and water proof! My lashes look beautiful too and I'm so glad I don't have to go searching for another product
