11.30.23 Lovely dual phase essence - vegan kombucha tea essence
This product is unscented, very smooth (a lot of slip), but less runny than a similar product I was previously using from another brand. It spreads easily, leaves a very nice finish on your skin, gives a great boost of hydration and moisture, and is perfect for layering under and over other products. It sinks in well and I do not have any issues with pilling or makeup application. I also use this after retin-a at night and it really helps to prevent the irritation/flaking that tretinoin can sometimes cause. On dryer days, you can apply more than one layer of this product. It does not feel heavy or oily. I do still need to use a heavier moisturizer afterwards as it is winter here now, but look forward to trying out the related gel cream in summer. The bottle is heavy and feels luxurious, and I'm way too amused shaking the bottle up each time. I saw my mom and sister after using this product for about a month and they asked why my skin was so "glowy". I think that's a good sign!
