As my skin is mostly oily, I wasn't sure about getting this essence, but I'm glad I did. It is very nourishing without being heavy or sticky, which is awesome! I like to use it day and night and I find it pairs well with the serums I use. It is definitely a favorite! Also, there is something very satisfying about the way it mixes!
