It did smell like tea. Shake it before use; I feel like I use milk tea on my face hahaha. I use it before I apply serum. It absorbed well into my dry skin. My face became hydrated the moment I apply it on my face. Hydration and moisturizer, this essence has it all.

First of all, the toner is quite runny which makes it so easily absorb into the skin. After using it for several days I don't feel irritated or dryness which is a good sign. I'll continue to use it more to see more results.
