I do think this product is overhyped but it really does moisturize your lips, sadly only for a while. It is difficult to use during the day because it will cause your lips to peel.

01.25.23 Effective product but a bit harsh on my lips
It's such a popular product so I bought and try it with my husband. My husband usually has a cracked lip as he doesn't like drinking much. My lips, on the other hand, have no such problem. We both tried every few days. My hubby's lips have improved after getting rid of the dead skin. My upper lip, on the other hand, has got a crack. As a matter of fact, my lips didn't feel comfortable after the first couple of trial. I felt that the lip skin were too thin. I had to lick my lips every now and then. Now I only stopped using it until I feel the necessity. My hubby mainly uses it.
