The tip of the pencil is a bevelled tip and it has a spooley on the other end,it doesn't deposit a lot of color which is good because you don't want to overpower your brows. For me the color is not that dark gray,but it's okay :)

P.D. I will repuchase when I run out of it but maybe try another color.
