The essence does it all hydrates, brightens the skin and evens skin tone while the serum is an anti aging powerhouse that has drastic impact on skin elasticity and reducing in fine lines and wrinkles. Essence is fragrance free and the serum has a very light fragrance (kind of citrus floral - very pleasant). Visable results within 2 weeks of use - and incredible results after 2 years of continued use. Will never be without these products.
