Not for sensitive skin
I love acidic toners, they do a great job for maintaining of healthy pH and microbiome, gently exfoliate and moisturize the skin.
❌BUT unfortunately the composition of this toner disappointed me.
Non-working AHA (due to pH 5.5), negligible amount of BHA, denaturated alcohol, a lot of essential oils (potential irritants and photosensibilizators).
✅In total, of all the ingredients, only Lemon extract and humectants really work
This toner is a transparent slightly viscous liquid with the smell of a mixture of lemon and alcohol. A little soapy when applied, leaves a softened skin feeling.
I don’t consider toners with alcohol for my sensitive face’s skin, unfortunately, they dry and irritate my skin.
BUT I found a good use for this toner: it works quite well with hyperkeratosis on my legs and reduces post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
