It is a good serum, but I missed the wow-effect that I had when using the lotion (alone!). It has a watery texture, absorbes very quickly, causes no breakouts or more oilyness, has no smell. It works well with the cream, only alone (or with Cosrx emulsion) makes no difference. Being honest it is only my 2nd korean serum. The first was a total failure so I wasn't brave enough to try another one for more than 1 year. But this is ok.

Benton is one of my absolute favourite skincare brands (their snail bee skin, essence, and aloe bha toner and masks are all my HGs) so I was so excited when they came out with another snail bee product! This serum is definitely a more intense and nourishing version of the original essence. This one is a bit stickier but absorbs very well and leaves the skin plump and hydrated but with no tackiness. This one seems to have more of a plumping effect compared to the original. If you love the original essence like myself, I would highly recommend this. I use the original snailbee essence during the day as my daytime soothing and hydrating essence and then use the snailbee serum as my nighttime repair and nourishing serum. Perfect!
