I bought this to help with overall health and energy levels. I've only just started taking it so can't really speak to the effects yet. This product came beautifully packaged with a gift bag so it would also make a great gift. The sticks come in a hard cardboard box and are divided into 3 individual boxes of 10 sticks each. The whole presentation is beautiful and looks expensive. The syrup is thick and the taste is bitter but obviously because it's ginseng, what else would you expect. There is a slight sweetness but the bitter aftertaste does linger for 5-10 minutes. If you grew up consuming traditional Chinese medicinal herbs like I did, the taste of this is acceptable. It's best stored in the fridge and consumed cold, and take it quick like a shot so not to prolong the bitter taste. You can chase it with something sweet but I didn't have to.
