Niacinamide is an oily girl’s favorite ingredient especially since it is know to help with oil control. In addition to the main ingredient, this serum also contained Acetyl glucosamine a derivative of glucose, which a multipurpose antioxidant that helps gently exfoliate and helps with skin aging. This serum has a noticeable slip. It sinks in feeing tacky, but that tackiness disappeared after it dries. I enjoyed this serum especially during the summertime when my oils are out of control. A lot of products have Niacinamide like their HA serum so I would only buy this if I went for a minimal routine!

07.07.22 oil control and minimize pores
This serum has a thinner consistency. It is clear in colour, has no scent and applies easily into the skin. I find this serum a bit more sticky/tacky for my skin making it feel heavy. This would benefit more if you have oily skin or acne.

06.29.22 Great Niacinamide Serum
This Niacinamide serum is pleasantly light with a bit of viscosity that applies and sinks into the skin easily and readily. The texture of this serum is much lighter and less dense than a lot of Niacinamide serums I’ve used in the past, resulting in less mess and a more enjoyable user experience. Due to the lighter texture of this serum, it pairs well with other serums without feeling like it overloads the skin and without exacerbating already oily skin. While using this serum, I noticed an overall improvement in oil production which is especially handy during the summer heat. I’m not sure if it’s mainly a result of the reduced oil production, but I did have fewer outbreaks while trying out this serum, and the acne I did get was noticeably less severe in size and redness compared to my typical outbreaks.
