FYI, this serum contains 2.5% of pure bakuchiol so I was a little taken aback at first since I have not experience much with retinol or bakuchiol. Remember to patch test first. Also I follow the direction that 1. you should only use a small amount as a size of pinky nail for your whole face or 2. mix A DROP of it with your moisturizer. So far, I don't have any irritation and I only use it a few time though (twice a week in the evening)
