It is my second retinol product. I think this retinol oil is perfect for those who want to start using retinol. It will take a while to finish the bottle so it's nice. I can see that this product helps prevent pimples and my skin looks healthy. 10/10

Best for anti aging, wrinkle and fine line. Can combine with black tea or green tea serum and cream is good. However, use only 2-3 times a week is ok.

I see my pores become smoother in appearance the next day after using it. It's shocking. So I think this is effective. It is an oil, so it does feel a little oily but absorbs pretty quickly into the skin. I like to use it because I see effects but this smells a little like vegetable oil when you spread it across the face. But of course if we leave the scent aside, this is a great great product.

After using 0.1% retinol for several months, I felt ready to try my retinol tolerance and see if it could take a higher percentage. However, unlike other retinol products I have tried, Cosrx uses PURE retinol and not just retinol derivatives which means it is stronger than most other retinol products you can find in the market. I had taken this into consideration prior but still decided to test this out, fully knowing the risk. Unfortunately, I was right to worry as this 0.5% pure retinol oil was definitely too strong for me and I felt a strong stinging sensation even though I only applied a small amount. It is also possible that I am a bit more sensitive to retinol than others as this 0.5% oil is also marketed to beginner users of retinol so there may be others who can tolerate this better than I can. For those who are sensitive, I’d recommend applying a very small amount using the sandwich method (moisturiser-retinol-moisturiser) and staggering your application to every 3 days.
