05.22.23 Great, but Causes Allergic Reaction
I heard nothing but great reviews about this product, but when I tried it, it consistently gave me a slight itchy and red allergic reaction beneath my eyes. I’m not sure if this was a purging reaction to the retinol, but even when applied at night with the sandwich method (moisturizer, wait 20 min, retinol, wait 20 min, moisturizer), I could still feel a slight itch under my eyes. I also did not notice barely any improvement for fine lines/wrinkles around the eyes, but I’m sure if I used it a bit longer I might have seen a difference. This may work better for people with less sensitive skin.
