Best for after sun because it has cooling sensation. Sometimes, when I have irritated skin because of the sun, I put this toner with CSM method. The smell has a hint of wood and creamy. Sadly, there isn't really enough hydration provided by this product.

It has a watery texture and I found this really mild with intensive acne care. It provides good moisture that makes the skin dewy and bouncy without any greasy feeling.

My expectations were to see something like a serum, that's how essences usually look like. But this product has an ultra-runny consistency like a water. I absolutely love the scent. It smells with the forest nuts. I'm not sure how a licorice smell itself, I'm just describing the way I perceive it. And I've never had a skincare that smells like that. So fresh and calming at the same time. It has Hyaluronic acid, which means it should be covered with a moisturizer to seal the hydration. Otherwise it pulls moisture from the deep layers. That's exactly how I feel if I don't cover it with a serum or a cream. My face starts feeling tight. It works beautifully though in the combination of Hyaah Essential Water and Sebum Balancing cream. Licorice First Essence also contains Allantoin. It helps to soothe irritations and stimulates the wounds healing. It helps with itching also. Awesome if you have a redness or blemishes after dealing with your pimples.

This essence very hydrating. There is no any scent, watery and fast absorb into the skin. Really helps calming and reduce redness on my skin. I love it.
