While 5% niacinamide is typically ideal for the skin to gain its full benefits, a 10% concentration can sometimes be too strong, potentially damaging the skin barrier and causing irritation. So far, it has been fine, and I haven’t noticed any irritation, though I avoid using it every night due to the concerns I mentioned. I also have the light pink version with 5% niacinamide, which I feel comfortable using every night.
