Okay hydration
Despite the texture being pretty much like water, the white powder part of the essence will resurface/reappear and move if I add other thicker hydrating serums on top of it (so I end up using this essence only just before my emulsion step). It's also not as hydrating as the beauty of joseon's ginseng essence, though I think this one's moisturizing/skin barrier support is better (i.e. doesn't hydrate as well, but the hydration from other products are retained longer from pairing it with the haruharu essence - instead of ~24hr for the BOJ one, it is 48hr of locked in moisture from haruharu wonder).

I Ike this product but I wish I loved it. The consistency is very thick, to the point where is not that easy to get it to come out of the bottle. I think a dropper or a pump would be more efficient. I apply only at night, and my face does feel softer the next day. Sometimes I wake up with little whiteheads and I don't know if it's because of this product or not.

It’s a bit thick, but it’s very nice for the winter. I recommended for dry skin.
