My Thoughts: It is not harsh on the face once applied. Doesn’t sting or burn. Makes pore less visible as it gently provides hydration as well. This is really perfect for sensitive skin type.

Overall: A very amazing skincare line that works wonder!! Would highly recommend for sensitive, dry, and oily skin types. All of these products are fragrance-free, EO-free, and certified vegan. Should definitely try!

This toner contains gluconolactone which is a Poly Hydroxy Acid that gently removes the dead skin and sweeps away pore clogging debris from the skin. Unlike other hydroxy acids,PHA has a larger molecular structure that stops it from deeply penetrating into the skin.So it just works on the skin surface ,thus making it a gentle daily exfoliant.
My experience

For this evening’s #texturetuesday, it’s going to be about the PHA9 Deep Purifying Facial Toner by @jumiso_global , another product in their Pore-Rest Line.

This toner contains 9% PHA (Gluconolactone), a hypoallergenic water-soluble exfoliating ingredient, which helps control and reduce sebum in pores. It also smooths skin texture and adds hydration to the skin.

The toner has a lightweight and watery texture, which is great. It dries pretty quickly on my skin without leaving any greasy feeling behind; and makes my face look brighter.

I usually like to apply toner with my hands. But for this toner, I find it to be more effective pouring onto a thin facial cotton pad first, and then applying it onto my face. Doing that helps to remove any remnants of dirt and oil on the skin. For this review, I have used this toner in my morning skincare routine, alternating with their toner pads, which I only applied them in the evenings. So, the order is kind of like - toner ‘1,3,5’ morning; toner pads ‘2,4,6’ evening! (If you know what I mean by that! )

I like that this is like a multi-tasker toner - it gently exfoliates the skin, which helps improve the skin’s texture and tone; at the same time, gives it some hydration. That’s kind of how it made me feel during those ‘exfoliating’ morning days!

@skincarewithgenna PORE-REST PHA9 Deep Purifying Facial Toner

This is a gentle exfoliating toner using 9% PHA (Polyhydroxy Acids) which tends to be the gentlest of the acids because of its larger molecular makeup. Making it a great acid for sensitive skin.

My thoughts: This is lightweight and has a watery consistency that soaks into the skin quickly. I don’t notice any fragrance when I use this. In my opinion, this is definitely gentle. I’m used to using stronger acids on my skin regularly, so I didn’t expect to have much irritation in the first place. I have noticed that it doesn’t dry my skin out after using it my skin doesn’t have that tight feeling, which I appreciate. It has slightly helped with the pores on my nose. I just think it’s a bit too gentle for me to really notice a huge difference, since I am so used to stronger acids. I do however, think this is a great product for anyone with sensitive skin, or anyone just starting out with exfoliating acids.

The toner contains 9% PHA, a gentle exfoliant, which removes dead skin cells from the surface layer of the skin. The toner has a water like consistency and is absorbed immediately by my dry skin. I do experience a very mild stinging sensation when I use it after the exfoliating cleanser and wipes. Used by itself it is nonirritating and helps to moisturize my skin.

I love this toner, is perfect for my skin type, I have dry- sensitive skin and I definitely enjoyed it, is very gentle which I appreciate it, others make my skin too sensitive and they make my skin irritated, with this toner didn’t experience any irritation in my skin feels hydrating but a little bit tacky, my skin feels clear and refreshed, it works perfect alongside other products. I’ll definitely buy it again.
