Extra thick cream and cost effective!
This is the thickest cream I've ever used. That's also what I was hoping for as the drier and colder months of winter are here, as I have super dry skin that I often have to over apply and over layer alot of moisturizer to keep my skin hydrated. This cream definately does help lock in hydration no matter how thick or super thin it is on the skin. However, I find the brightening effects too little to even be noticed even after 2 weeks (i.e. the mask version does a wayy better job of brightening and hydrating). The cream itself will not add any hydration to the skin, so be sure to hydrate well before applying the cream on top. I also find this cream to be absorbed and keep in moisture much better when applying an emulsion (a water + oil bridge) before the cream. The oily sheen from this moisturizer is somewhat less oily/shiny compared to other moisturizers despite being so thick. It's also still really easy to apply since it pretty much melts away smoothly.
