I absolutely love this moisturizer. I suffer from sensitive, acne prone skin, redness, and if it gets too dry, my skin is really oily. I gave the Deep in a Barrier Cream a chance over a year ago after learning about it from a James Welsh video. I was skeptical, but I had been reading about the benefits of tamanu oil for sensitive skin and decided to give this a try. So glad I did.
Fair warning: this lotion smells quite stinky, to the point where you might reconsider putting it on your face, but once you rub/pat it in, the smell is no longer a concern. The texture of this cream isn't super heavy, but it isn't too thin, either. I love the container this is in; it's in a bottle with an easy to use pump.
For application, I use two pumps on my face, day and night, in the summer. I use three pumps at night in the winter when I need a little extra moisture. One bottle will last me about one month, so I try my best to pick up a few bottles whenever it's on sale. However, this stuff is so good that I don't even mind paying full price. This moisturizer has given me the youthful glow I've been longing for for ages.
If you've been wondering about this product, give it a chance!
