Make sure to use serum or lotion before you use retinol. Use a small amount on the problem areas (wrinkles, etc.). When using it on the neck, make sure to put the serum on the neck as well. Finish with cream after you use retinol.

As it is a cream with a high retinol content, it has a great effect in removing dead skin cells and may cause skin irritation.
We recommend using this product for those who have already used retinol products with intermediate-strength retinol content(content of 0.1% or more).

3. Pea size
If it's your first time using retinol, use only a pea-sized amount towards problem areas.
When your skin fully gets used to retinol, you can apply it to the whole face and gradually increase the amount to achieve the best results.

I am not entirely sure about this, it is probably too strong. I didn’t immediately have any irritation but I did get peeling afterwards in that area. I think I will give it another go but in small areas again and see how I go. If not will try the less concentrated retinol.

I was using the Seoul retinal and I liked it but wanted to try a stronger option. I've only used this a few times but I've layered after toner/hydrating essence and then serum/cream after and I havrnt had any irritation or purging
